We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Utility Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, and assisting with food preparation. This position is essential for maintaining a smooth workflow in our Suites Kitchen
Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed to support kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Support banquet setups and breakdowns, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a culinary environment such as restaurants, hotels, or catering services is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices.
- Ability to clean efficiently and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
