What we are looking for:
We are seeking a Closing Paralegal to join our team in south Charlotte, NC. Our office location is conveniently located in between Park Road Shopping Center, and Montford Drive. There is no prior experience required for this position - we will provide detailed on-site training and provide you with the tools to be successful in this position. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, motivated, and interest in learning and developing a career in the real estate industry. As a Closing Paralegal, you will be at the forefront of the transaction, supporting the attorneys as necessary. You will learn about the title exam process, ordering title insurance, correspond with lenders and real estate agents, learn key differences between North Carolina and South Carolina real estate laws, and develop lasting relationships with our incredible clientele.
What your day-to-day might look like:
-Handle real estate closing files from start to finish - you will be trained how to handle a file from start to finish before requested to do so yourself.
-Coordinate with clients, lenders, and real estate agents throughout the transaction process.
-Assisting attorneys with preparing for real estate closings - including preparing closing packages and coordinating signings.
-Manage and organizing real estate files and documents.
Preferred Qualifications (not requirements):
-Bilingual (Spanish)
-Bachelor's Degree
-Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and SoftPro (ProForm or SoftPro Select)
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Adaptable and willing to learn
-Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-Organizational skills
-Prior knowledge of North Carolina real estate laws and procedures
