Mixer

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Mixer to join our team. The Mixer will be responsible for preparing ingredients, operating mixing equipment, and ensuring the quality of the final product

**Responsibilities**

• Read batch sheet- confirm ingredients lot numbers, verify weights, verify correct ingredients.
• Measure and combine ingredients according to recipes – follow instructions, dump ingredients in sequence, monitor temperatures through temperature chart recorder to ensure food safety CCP’s are being met, monitored, and recorded
• Operate mixing equipment to blend ingredients thoroughly
• Monitor mixing processes to ensure consistency and quality
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the mixing area
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling equipment and ingredients
• Coordinate with QA for quality check and release
• Coordinate with machine operators to send product to filling line ensure limited downtime between batches
• When needed, ability to batch materials & operate juicer, assemble and disassembly pumps and kettle equipment.

**Experience:**

• Previous experience in food processing or food preparation preferred
• Knowledge of CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) is a plus
• Understanding of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) principles is desirable
• Experience working in a kitchen environment or with knives is advantageous

• Standing for long periods of time
• Effective and clear communication across various departments

· Spoken and written English proficiency is a requirement

· Bi-lingual in both English and Spanish preferred
