Summary
The production worker position encompasses all tasks involved in the production of the company's products. This role follows standard work methods and adheres to safe work practices to ensure production is both efficient and safe.
Essential Functions
- Maintain on-time/good attendance
- Inspects components and finished products to ensure proper assembly within designated time frames.
- Meets production targets for all workflow processes. (As defined by dept/associated workstation)
- Cycle Time: Average time taken by the worker to complete one manufacturing cycle.
- Accurately document work on production and quality forms.
- Participates in 5S and Kaizen initiatives, including cleaning, sorting, organizing, and process improvement activities.
- Proficient in using hand tools, fixtures, and equipment.
- Rotates through various job stations within operations based on business needs.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Follows written production documentation accurately.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Production Output: Produce X units or parts per hour/day, as defined by dept
- Quality Control: Maintain a defect rate below X%, as set by dept or QA team
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient in basic math skills.
- Adheres to all safety rules and ISO requirements.
- Collaborates with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Complies with the Lancer Quality Policy.
- Demonstrates a team player mentality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency preferred
- 6 months previous production experience preferred

Work Environment
