- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible Health Care Facilities leadership experience preferred.
- Operations/construction management within an automated systems Health Care setting work environment.
- Experience in successfully managing and implementing large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and demonstrated mentoring, excellent facilitation and conflict resolution skills desired.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
- Minimum five years responsibility at a director level in areas of engineering, maintenance, and construction for Healthcare Facility Planning or a related field.
- MA Construction Supervisor License (unrestricted), or Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) REQUIRED
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need.
Job Description
Direct responsibility for Facilities Engineering and Maintenance, Building Life Safety, New Construction & Renovation Project Planning Management for Berkshire Medical Center and all other BHS owned locations.
- Proactive participation in strategic planning with focus on project management skills, analytic ability, sound judgment and strong operational focus.
- Manage & organize financial operating budgets for several departments.
- Lead staff effectively and function as a role model collegiality and effectively as it relates to people at all levels within the organization.
Designs, implements and maintains processes and documentation to ensure compliance with Joint Commission Utility Management, Environment of care and Life Safety standards as well as other regulatory requirements. Co-Chairs the Environment of Care Committee.
