Job Title : Microbiology Laboratory Supervisor
Job Type : Full-Time

Pay Range : $111,758 to $174,755

Position Overview :
The Section Supervisor, a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), reports to the Laboratory Director and is responsible for supervising a lab section, performing technical procedures, ensuring quality control, and maintaining instrumentation to guarantee accurate results. All laboratory staff must promote the hospital’s mission by treating patients, visitors, and colleagues with care, courtesy, and confidentiality. Staff are expected to adhere to professional standards, maintain patient confidentiality, ensure sample identification integrity, and comply with Clinical and Anatomic Laboratories regulatory requirements.
The key responsibilities of the Section Supervisor are :
- Supervision and Leadership : Overseeing a section of the lab, ensuring proper performance of technical procedures, and managing quality control.
- Instrument Maintenance and Operation : Ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Quality and Compliance : Taking steps to ensure the accuracy of test results, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and professional guidelines.
Minimum Education : Bachelor's Degree - Medical Technology / Biological Science, Medical Technologist Internship
Minimum Experience / Skills : One to three years experience preferred.
