This position manages the day to day operations of an After School program with 3 staff, up to 20 children ( ages 5-12), Monday-Friday from 2:15-5:30PM.

General Position Description
The Site Director is responsible for assisting the Administrator in ensuring the health, safety and quality of education for all the children within the center’s care. Under the Director the Administrator, the Site Director collaborates with staff to ensure that enrichment activities are properly delivered and that the needs and goals of the students are met appropriately.
This position reports to the Administrator
Key Responsibilities
- Assume duties of the Administrator and Program Staff as needed during their absence.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure adherence to quality standards in accordance with program guidelines and state and local requirements; implement improvements where needed.
- Maintain communication with families and community through appropriate outreach activities.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations.
- Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Complete billing/ tuition, submit state financial aid documents and submit timekeeping/ attendance documents.
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- 2 year of direct professional experience in a childhood setting ( ages 5-12)
- High Energy
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Excellent leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of Quick Books and FileMaker.
- Must clear full background check.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education or a related field of study.
