Are you a skilled handyman with carpentry experience looking for a seasonal work? Palmetto Woods, a family-owned mobile home community just a mile from Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, SC, seeking a seasonal Maintenance Technician.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in maintenance, particularly with trailers or manufactured homes.
- Skills: Strong carpentry, roof repairs, painting, and flooring installation. Basic plumbing, electrical and/or HVAC knowledge is a plus.
- Computer Savvy: Ability to track inventory and work progress digitally.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and a focus on customer service.
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Professional work ethic and commitment to safety
- Willingness to learn new techniques for the manufactured home industry
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have your own truck and tools
- Availability for weekend and after-hour emergencies is essential.
- Part-time hours to start
