Key Responsibilities
- Ensure employee and plant safety, food safety, quality initiatives, HR, and process controls.
- Complete RedZone Initiatives utilizing Kaizens, DLMPs, and lean processes.
- Drive the sustainability of CAPA initiatives.
- Champion process improvement and lean manufacturing activities by collaborating with supporting functions to implement and sustain change.
- Drive metrics and review departmental performance, production, yield, efficiencies, labor utilization, and financial results.
- Implement appropriate CAPEX plans to support new business, profitability, and asset maintenance.
- Direct, coach, and develop a supervisory team to align their work with long-term goals and the company's strategic direction.
- Set goals for direct reports in training and development, performance, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to set direction, accountability, and achieve results.
- Demonstrate cross-functional capability in supply chain, organizational excellence, finance, quality, and food safety.
- Serve as acting supervisor in their absence.
- Promote and reinforce LOF Core Values and culture at all levels.

About You
- <> Minimum 5 years of operational/manufacturing experience; food industry preferred.
- <> Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, food science, meat science, or related field required.
- <> HACCP Certification, Lean/Six Sigma Certification preferred.
- <> Experience in food manufacturing processes preferred; supervisory/managerial experience required.
- <> Local and/or overnight travel required (25%).
