Purina Equine Feed Sales Role Overview
The Purina Equine Feed Sales role is designed to work with partners in the greater Pine Bush, NY area to develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth and increase market share for Purina equine feed products. This role requires a strong background in animal nutrition and sales experience, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Call on equine animal owners to evaluate their current feeding programs and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Sell and consult at the farm gate with the goal of increasing sales and market share of Purina products.
- Develop and implement effective educational meetings and events to enhance the company's brand image and sell product.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field desired.
- Previous sales experience highly desired.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office and ability to learn ration balancing software (HerdSmart) and Salesforce.
