About the Role:
Land O'Lakes is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment, ensuring high-quality production and meeting production specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machine tools, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.
- Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
- Operate all equipment and processes, monitoring machine parameters and troubleshooting processing problems.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills and ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
- Excellent time management and coordination skills to meet team goals and adapt to changes in deadlines and priorities.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain a safe working environment.
