Responsibilities
- Lead a team of mechanics to maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
- Implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the maintenance coordinator to schedule and prioritize work activities.
- Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including daily work sheets, Work Orders, and parts requests.
- Identify opportunities for equipment modification or replacement.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Three to five years of prior industrial machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of applicable safety procedures and standards, including OSHA regulations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work effectively with team members.
