About the Position
As a Production Supervisor at Land O'Lakes, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our Purina Animal Nutrition business. You'll oversee production, prioritize quality and safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive employee engagement.
Main Responsibilities:
Emphasize the importance of workplace safety by educating employees on procedures and ensuring their adherence.
Verify that all production processes comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the Food Safety Plan to guarantee product quality.
Pursue ongoing initiatives aimed at reducing costs, improving quality, enhancing services, developing employees, and optimizing environmental impact through optimized resource usage.
Maintain effective collaboration with other supervisory staff and departments to enhance operational productivity and optimize resource utilization.
Create and implement production schedules, task assignments, and shift arrangements to meet customer expectations and internal targets.
Closely collaborate with the Maintenance team to schedule and perform routine equipment upkeep and explore ways to boost efficiency.
Guide and support team members in personal and professional growth, facilitate cross-functional communication, and model positive leadership behaviors.
Offer constructive performance evaluations, encourage exceptional performance, and inspire colleagues to strive for excellence.
