Job Summary
This role is part of our Land OLakes, Inc., WinField United business that provides crop inputs and insights to farmers through our network independent ag retailers.
We strive to help the retailers and farmers they serve intelligently advance agriculture and help farmers win in every field around the world.
You will operate large-sized trucks with trailers for transportation of agricultural materials. You are a valued team member who requires minimal supervision and guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Transport agricultural materials across regional areas
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of products
- Work collaboratively with teams to meet goals and adapt to changes
- Maintain a valid commercial drivers license and HAZ-MAT licensure
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure physical safety at all times
- Read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions
- Understand implications of new information for problem-solving and decision-making
- Give full attention to others, ask questions as appropriate
Requirements:
- Age: 21 years or older
- Current drivers license
- Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL); HAZ-MAT licensure (or ability to attain)
- 3-5 years of commercial driving experience
- Time management skills, showing up on time and adapting to deadlines and priorities
- Safety awareness, ensuring complete physical safety without exception
- Coordination skills, working well with others to meet team goals
- Comprehension skills, reading, writing, and following instructions
Working Conditions:
- Able to lift 60lbs
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing
- Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment
- Work across temperature zones, including cold and/or hot environments
- Shift schedules include days, nights, weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime
