Responsibilities:
- Optimize transportation operations through data-driven decision-making.
- Improve efficiency, cost control, and service quality using KPIs and automation.
- Implement best practices for fleet utilization, route planning, and logistics execution.
- Oversee carrier relationships and ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance.
- Establish and implement SLAs to ensure consistent service levels.
- Negotiate SLAs, optimize carrier performance, and drive cost savings.
- Continuously analyze vendor performance to improve service and scalability.
- Lead and develop a team of Dispatch Supervisors and an Administrator.
- Foster accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with procurement, fleet management, and operations to align strategies.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Drive sustainability initiatives for fuel efficiency and asset longevity.
- Ensure on-time, cost-effective deliveries with minimal service disruptions.
- Use data and customer feedback to enhance service quality.
- Emphasize the importance of cross-departmental collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- 4-year College degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or equivalent study
- 3-5 years of management experience
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Proven leadership in team development and performance management
- Understanding of carrier contracts, SLAs, and vendor relationships
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, compliance, and safety best practices
- Knowledge of Hours of Service (HOS) and HOS management
Travel:
- Up to 10% travel
Minimum Physical Requirements:
- Standing, sitting, walking, talking, hearing

The pay range for this position is
$80,700.00 to $100,900.00Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant's location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
