We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Land Surveyor to join our team. The Entry Level Land Surveyor will assist in various surveying projects, utilizing advanced technology and methodologies to ensure accurate measurements and data collection.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting land surveys using various surveying instruments and equipment.
- Collect and analyze data related to land features, boundaries, and topography.
- Prepare detailed schematics and maps based on survey findings.
- Collaborate with senior surveyors and engineers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Utilize software such as MicroStation, Civil 3D, and Carlson for drafting and analysis.
- Perform calculations involving trigonometry, algebra, and other mathematical principles to determine land measurements.
- Maintain accurate records of survey data and project documentation.
- Participate in fieldwork, including site visits and inspections.
Requirements
- Familiarity with land surveying principles and practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in mathematical concepts including trigonometry, algebra, and geometry.
- Experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) is advantageous.
- Knowledge of software tools such as MicroStation, Civil 3D, or Carlson is desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data collection.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
