The Landis Gyr Co-op program is designed to enhance the quality and scope of learning by providing students with the option of integrating academic study with related, work-based learning. This first semester rotation begins May 2025 going through the beginning of August 2025 and applicants must be enrolled in the undergraduate Bachelors degree program and available for an alternating rotating 3-semester schedule. This is a paid position but we don't offer a housing stipend or housing assistance so students will need to live in or around the Atlanta, GA area to be able to work approximately 40 hours per week in-office Monday through Friday and commit to each of the 3 rotating semesters before graduating in 2027 or later as this is not a one-semester summer internship but a 3-semester Co-op.
Project Overview
- Perform mechanical system and component design utilizing solid modeling CAD tools under the guidance of the Project Engineer or Supervisor
- Create detailed drawings of parts and assemblies utilizing CAD tools
- Calculate and lay out dimensions, angles, curvature of parts, materials to be used

An undergraduate Freshman / Sophomore student working towards a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. Must be able to work 3 rotating semesters before graduation so would have an expected graduation date in 2027 or later.
