General Statement of Position
- Work safely and comply with all LMC and jobsite safety requirements

- Report to Human Resources Manager
- Successful pre-employment background check and drug screen is required
- Perform a variety of routine and complex tasks that deal with the recruitment and onboarding of LMC employees
- Work closely with LMC Management, Superintendents, Project Managers, and Foremen to determine staffing needs and employee relations
- Working hours will be flexible and correlate with available recruitment opportunities
- Can travel to meet with your hiring managers, tour job sites and participate in hiring events

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive site safety program in line with Landmark’s existing safety policy.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Implement and maintain the company’s safety management system on the construction site.
- Identify potential hazards and take appropriate measures to eliminate or control them.
- Ensure that all construction personnel are trained on safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain records of safety-related incidents and accidents and report them as required by law.
- Stay up-to-date with current health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Investigate incidents thoroughly and provide recommendations for preventing future occurrences.
- Oversee the proper maintenance and operation of all safety equipment on-site.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and conduct all necessary correspondence regarding site safety.
- Develop and distribute safety materials, manuals, and reports to all relevant parties.
- Provide safety inductions and training for new employees or visitors to the site.
- Coordinate emergency response planning and drills.
- Review and approve all subcontractors' safety plans and ensure their compliance.
- Manage the safety budget and ensure the cost-effective allocation of safety-related resources.
- Serve as the point of contact for all safety concerns raised by employees
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or related field or 5 years of experience in construction safety management
- OSHA 30 for Construction required
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional), ASP (Associate Safety Professional), or CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) or similar certification preferred
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and state and federal safety requirements
- First Aid/CPR certified
- Experience in developing and implementing safety training programs
- Proficient in conducting site safety inspections and audits
- Strong understanding of risk management and hazard recognition
- Ability to develop and enforce site-specific safety policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in incident investigation and reporting
- Proficient in the use of safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to adhere to safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes high-stress environment
- Physical ability to navigate construction sites, including climbing, bending, and exposure to varying weather conditions
- Availability to respond to site emergencies outside of regular business hours, if necessary
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
