IT Systems Engineer

NATURE AND SCOPE
This position reports to the VP, IT Infrastructure and Operations and operates out of our Headquarters. This individual will be responsible for infrastructure hardware, cloud platforms, and systems software used by the business and third-party businesses to include maintenance and system improvements to include automation where possible. This includes security, overall system health, optimization, and consultation for future solutions. Ensures the continuous operation and delivery of IT services to support Landmark's associates and members.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an IT Infrastructure delivery and/or support role.
2. Minimum of 5 years' working experience in an IT infrastructure delivery and support role infrastructure.
3. Minimum 5 years' proven experience with system security and enterprise data protection across integrated systems.
4. Minimum 3 years' experience with enterprise networking - Layer 2 and 3 network switches , OSI layers, TCP/IP, and VLAN and subnet management. Preferred working knowledge of SDWAN.
5. Minimum 3 year's proven experience virtualization, containerization, server OS and storage technologies.
6. Minimum 2 years' proven experience with scripting/automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Python, etc.
7. Minimum 2 years' proven experience with cloud computing. Microsoft Azure is preferred.
8. Minimum 2 years proven experience with supporting Active Directory and Entra ID accounts and policies.
9. Minimum 1 year proven experience with monitoring tools/systems.
10. Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
11. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel to branches.
12. On-call availability for emergency support calls 24/7 with a half hour response time and off-hours availability for maintenance windows.
13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
14. Demonstrated ability to create accurate architecture diagrams and documentation for integrated enterprise systems and networks.
15. Demonstrated ability to use judgment and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
16. Demonstrated experience in balancing multiple priorities and managing a variety of projects in a high-volume work environment with strong attention to detail.
17. Must have a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to the position. Must understand and comply with all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.Implement, administer, and troubleshoot cloud and on-premises infrastructure including servers, storage, network and related software and applications.
2. Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving physical hardware, software and other network and system problems.
3. Replacing faulty infrastructure and out of support software when required.
4. Conducts scheduled system checkup and prepares reports.
5. Provides consultation to business partners related to future system integrations.
6. Ensures disaster recovery solution is operational, maintained and meeting the business needs.
7. Adheres to the company's ITIL processes in the ITSM system that documents requests, incidents, problems, and changes.
8. Provides a proactive approach and thought leadership to implement efficiencies to the environment.
9. Delivers excellent customer service, resolving support requests and ensuring prompt and effective resolutions within agreed service timescales.
10. Performs maintenance tasks on supported infrastructure and applications during after business hours maintenance windows when required.
11. Escalates calls where significant service affecting incidents or security breaches occur as appropriate.
12. Follows standard operating procedures relating to management of the infrastructure platforms and security environments.
13. Completes and maintains accurate documentation.
14. Performs project work and other duties as assigned.
