What are the responsibilities and job description for the AUTOMOTIVE TITLE CLERK/BILLER position at Landmark Dodge Inc?
We are looking for an experienced Title Clerk with excellent customer service and a winning attitude for our fast-paced environment.
Summary
This position handles all administrative title work in the dealership, processes customer purchase packets to send accurate and complete contracts to the appropriate bank.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and process all documents associated with customer vehicle purchase including the bank contract while ensuring all documents are signed properly
- Prepare tag and title documents in a timely manner
- Submit all legal transfer documents to the DMV, including Notice of Lien filing
- Prepare and maintain trade-in vehicle jackets
- Verify and pay off vehicles
- Floor and pay off vehicles, assist the bank during a floor plan audit
- Accurately maintain filing system for car deals
- Attend title seminars and keep current with applicable laws and regulations
- Properly represent the dealership to its customers and vendors in a friendly manner
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Automotive Title/Billing experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organized with a keen attention to detail
- Strong computer & phone skills
- Professional personal appearance and work ethic
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the United Sates, be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
