What are the responsibilities and job description for the Excavating Apprenticeship Coordinator position at Landmark Excavating?
Landmark Excavating has started an apprenticeship program to help mentor our employees. We are looking for someone with many years of experience in excavating and heavy civil construction to help us teach and certify our guys in this apprenticeship.
This would be a part-time position to begin with. Past instructing experience would be very beneficial and we need someone bilingual in Spanish and English.
We are just starting our apprenticeship program and the curriculum is still being built. So input from our coordinator would be very helpful.
The main area of operations for this position is our corporate office. We have a large yard where the certification and instruction will take place. However, some traveling to the field may be required.
This would be a great position for someone who is retired and enjoys working and teaching people who are in this trade.
