Job Summary

The primary function of this position is to provide technical and client service support for the Financial Advisor.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

New Business

  • Provide support for new accounts by gathering data, preparing meeting materials, managing meeting notes and action items, and completing applications.
  • Participate in client meetings and prepare detailed notes outlining facts, goals, items discussed, action items and implementation. Enter notes in Client Relation Manager (CRM) database and send notes to client to summarize meeting.
  • Communicates with new client during account implementation regarding account set up missing information, transfer of assets and approval.

Retention

  • Participate in client meetings and provide support for client reviews by gathering data, preparing meeting materials, and managing meeting notes and action items.
  • Prepare detailed notes outlining facts, goals, items discussed and action items. Enter notes in Client Relation Manager (CRM) database and send notes to client to summarize meeting.
  • Prepare updates, quarterly investment reviews and annual reviews by summarizing investment performance, account values and benchmark comparisons.
  • Maintain orderly electronic files and information, following industry standards.
  • Manage and maintain CRM database.

Personal and Organizational Development

  • Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
  • Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and stay current.
  • Set goals and adjust as needed.
  • Ability to make effective decisions using impeccable ethical judgment.
  • Detail oriented, accurate, organized, self-motivated, task-oriented and able to set priorities.
  • Must be able to pass background check and maintain fingerprinted, non-registered status through Lincoln Financial Securities.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by agency management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred but not required.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with others to explain complex issues, receive and interpret complex information, and respond appropriately.
  • Basic knowledge of products and usages.
  • Basic knowledge of markets and reference to markets.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude and willingness to help others.
  • Ability to self-manage and carry out complex tasks with concrete and abstract variables.
  • Highly proficient technical skills and ability to utilize computer programs including Excel, Word and other proprietary software.

Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced environment with significant telephone and personal disruption.
  • Large number of multiple steps in complex system performed with accuracy and speed is essential to the successful completion of tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
