Responsibilities
A successful Group Facilitator will be an organized, proactive and responsive self-starter. They will have the ability to grab the attention of a room of people and guide them through content with ease. They will be approachable, understanding, and empathetic of the situations their group members are experiencing. They can provide structure and guidance when needed, while maintaining control of conversations and situations that may be uncomfortable for group attendees. Group Facilitators exude a calm confidence that inspires trust and fosters belonging in group situations.
- Are responsible for presenting skills and information to further our patients recovery
- Conduct group psychoeducation sessions with fidelity to the established curriculum
- Contribute Treatment Team meetings as needed
- Work cooperatively and collaboratively with everyone, especially on the treatment teams
- Work cooperatively with all levels of employees and management
- Do additional duties as assigned
- Report directly to the Clinical Director
