Part-Time Landfill Scale House Operator
A government agency in Pensacola is looking to bring in a part-time hardworking and reliable Landfill Scale House Operator to join their team to process the weights of inbound and outbound vehicles by entering the information into vehicle tracking software.
Job Responsibilities :
- Determine acceptability of waste brought to the location. Greet and direct customers to the correct disposal location. Answer a variety of questions and resolve problems.
- Employees are required to exercise independent judgment in enforcing facility rules and regulations.
- Maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to requirements, new developments.
- Operates two-way radio as needed to alert landfill personnel of special waste loads.
- Completes daily administrative tasks that include processing end-of-the-day computer reports.
- Daily balancing of all cash receipts, completing deposit slip and bank bag.
- Participate in required training and meetings.
