Job Overview
We're looking for a skilled and reliable Pipefitter/Equipment Operator to join our construction team. This is a key role in our irrigation and drainage installation process, and we need someone who’s sharp, experienced, and comfortable running machinery in the field.
Job Summary:
The Landscape Construction Pipefitter/Operator will be responsible for installing and repairing irrigation and drainage systems, reading plans, and operating various types of machinery on site. Spanish fluency is required, as effective communication with crew members is essential for safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and connect pipes for irrigation and drainage systems per project specs
- Read and interpret blueprints and layout designs
- Operate machinery such as trenchers, skid steers, mini excavators, and compactors
- Identify and solve piping or system issues during installation
- Work closely with site foreman and crew to ensure efficiency and safety
- Communicate clearly with team members in both Spanish and English
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and tools
- Ensure job sites are safe, clean, and organized
Requirements:
- 1 years of experience in pipefitting, irrigation systems, or underground utilities in a landscape or construction setting
- Experience operating light-to-medium construction equipment
- Strong understanding of grades, slopes, and water flow for proper pipe installation
- Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English (speaking and understanding)
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a crew
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with both residential and commercial landscape projects
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
