JOB SUMMARY
The Business Development Representative is a sales professional that generates new business opportunities for Landscapes Golf Management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Develops a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect client contact and prospecting by finding and qualifying leads through cold calls, emails, networking and social selling.
- Responsible for researching target markets, reviewing industry postings, connecting with current and former leads including general research calls and emails, discovery calls to targets.
- Uses social selling techniques to attract and source leads.
- Responds creatively to objections, thinking outside the box and finding innovative ways to spark interest apart from competitors.
- Attends industry specific national, regional and chapter events to network and build relationships with current and future prospective partners.
- Travels to various markets introducing LGM services to prospective clients identifying their needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Actively manage all prospects and accounts through an organized sales database.
- Develop and coordinate mass email campaigns, target traditional mailing campaigns and other marketing efforts.
- Develop business strategies to achieve goals and retain clients that align with Company goals.
- Assists with drafting business plans and proposals, sales pitches and presentations.
- Schedules and / or attends qualification meetings for account executives.
- Prepare sales reports and conduct periodic visits / meetings with corporate officers.
- Stay up to date on trends and news from the industry, our competitors and target market.
