What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Maintenance Worker position at Landscaping Services/Management?
Responsibility
- Remove weeds, debris, and fallen branches from outdoor areas.
- Maintain mulch beds, shrubs, and flowers (if needed).
- Ensure pathways, driveways, and parking areas are clean and safe
- Complete maintenance for commercial or residentials in a timely manner.
- Use electronic device to clock in or out of job sites.
Requirements:
- Ability to follow directions.
- Communicate with crew leader and or supervisor of any issues.
- Pruning knowledge.
- Ability to use hand tools properly.
- Great attention to detail.
Summary:
Working as a team under the supervision of a crew leader, a landscaping crew member is in charge of carrying out physical labor on outdoor landscaping projects, trimming hedges, planting flowers, weeding, edging, clearing debris, using power tools, and keeping the job site clean. Physical stamina and attention to detail are necessary to ensure high-quality results across a variety of landscaping tasks.
