This position requires a minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Closing/Escrow Officer in the Lee County, FL area.

Responsible for establishing new escrow files and process escrow documents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Review the terms of the purchase sale agreements, communicate and coordinate effectively with buyers, sellers, lenders and realtors details of closing.
- Completes real estate escrow transactions by determining requirements; clearing titles; assembling, preparing, and reviewing closing documents; disbursing funds.
- Obtains clear title by ordering title reports; resolving title defects; satisfying existing liens and encumbrances against property or principals.
- Establishes escrow files by depositing funds; maintaining records.
- Prepares transaction documents by completing forms and statements; collecting and reviewing existing documents.
- Completes closing transaction documents by assembling documents; reviewing papers with parties; explaining provisions and procedures; answering questions; checking documents for completeness and accuracy; obtaining signatures.
- Completes closing by recording and filing documents; preparing and distributing final closing statements and title.
- Prepares buyer/seller CD by utilizing lender instructions.
- Review and Read Survey for accuracy against title commitment – locate easements and locate all possible encroachments; review legal description against title commitment and survey
- Understand basic title principals and title requirements and title exceptions
- Understand how to read a title commitment and prepare final title policies
- Closes escrow files by balancing and disbursing funds.'
