What are the responsibilities and job description for the AV/LTL/INTL Processor 2nd Shift position at Lane Automotive, Inc.?
Summary:
Responsible for picking, packing, preparing, and scheduling shipments to forwarders and end customers. Ensure shipments are accurate and damage-free, utilizing shipping systems in place (Trend/IRMS). Use research and analytical tools to solve problems and make recommendations for improvement to process/procedure.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare both small parcel and palletized shipments
- Ability to navigate IRMS Mobile & Desktop
- Verify order(s)/warehouse(es) have been completely picked, packed, and routed/scheduled
- Ability to prepare/construct gaylord boxes for use when packing LTL shipments
- Ability to use pallet wrapping machine
- Ability to accurately weigh and measure carton(s) and/or pallet(s) and write weight(s) & dimensions clearly on supporting paperwork
- Ability to perform minor troubleshooting of common issues such as, shortages, overages, damages
- Ability to communicate with internal / external business partners in facilitating order process ship complete.
- Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma. 1-2 years Warehouse/Distribution Order fulfillment experience. Ability to use common software applications and company warehouse management system (WMS)
