Required QUALIFICATIONS

Position Purpose: | Responsible for vocational and social skills training and supervision support of small groups of adults with developmental disabilities in a variety of work settings or learning environments. This hourly, time sheet assignment is primarily responsible for vocational and social skills training and supervision support of small groups of adults with developmental disabilities in a variety of work settings or learning environments. This position will not be responsible for performing the full scope of duties outlined in the Developmental Disabilities 1 job classification. This hourly assignment works under the direction of the Division Dean. |

Supervision Statement: | Reports to and works under the general supervision of the Division Dean and Specialized Support Services Administrative Coordinator - Lead. After initial training and orientation, employees in this class work independently with within prescribed parameters. Additional training may be given during staff and in-service meetings. Work is reviewed through observation and feedback from program customers. This position is responsible to assign tasks, provide priorities and monitor the duties of student workers (clients). |
Physical Demands/Working Environment: | Work and drive safely; ability to lift, push and pull up to fifty (50) pounds; may walk or work outside in inclement weather; may stand for more than one (1) hour a day. |
