What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Manager position at Lanett Housing Authority?
Manage the day-to-day operation of assigned property in accordance with HUD and the PHA'S established rules, regulations and guidelines. Rent apartments, collect rent and other charges, process eviction notices and make appearances in court as needed. Receive, generate and complete work orders. Coordinate apartment preparations through the Maintenance Foreman. Conduct Continued Occupancy Certifications by Anniversary Dates. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the Authority.
Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in business, public administration or social sciences and at least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in management or low income housing or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience resulting in the ability to fulfill the essential job duties of the position.
