About The Role
We're looking for our first Brand and Marketing Design Lead to join LangChain. In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping our brand's visual identity, working closely with Product Marketing, Growth, and Product Design. With 160k subs to our newsletter, 90k subs on Youtube, 370k subs on LinkedIn, 180k followers on Twitter, and 100k stars on GitHub, LangChain has an enormous following. We're looking for a world-class, senior designer to own and evolve our brand identity at at a strategic level while executing high-impact visuals across all marketing and growth initiatives. We’re at an exciting stage where brand storytelling and design excellence can significantly impact our company trajectory, and we want someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment to up the bar on polish and craft.
This is a hybrid role that blends brand evolution, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution. You will be responsible for shaping our visual identity, ensuring consistency across all touch points while staying agile enough to create high-quality assets for ongoing campaigns, social media, website updates, blog content, and other marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable wearing multiple hats: developing brand guidelines, creating day-to-day assets for fast-moving marketing campaigns, and collaborating with Product Design to ensure consistency. You will work closely with our marketing, content, and growth teams to ensure that our brand remains distinctive, engaging, and performance-driven.

Brand Evolution
- Define and evolve our visual brand identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms
- Stay ahead of trends and proactively refine our visual storytelling
- Create assets for marketing campaigns, product launches, website and blog, landing pages, sales collateral, and social media
- Explore creative ways to engage and inspire a developer audience through the look and feel of your designs
- Partner with Product Marketing and Growth to align design with strategy
- Implement efficient workflows for design reviews
- Ensure design choices are informed by marketing objectives
- Project manage and provide artistic direction for our external design agencies in delivering assets for our industry conference and events
- Establish brand guidelines and design systems to maintain consistency as we scale
- 4 years of experience in brand or visual design, with a strong digital portfolio demonstrating impactful work
- Expert in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or modern illustration tools.
- Passionate about storytelling via design for social media and web - including translating complex, technical ideas into simple, engaging visuals
- A collaborative partner who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Someone who sweats the details and is a bar raiser
- Comfortable working independently and can run projects to completion once given direction and context
- Ability to sketch ideas and iterate quickly on constructive feedback
- Experience working with developer-focused brands
- Web design experience (e.g. Webflow)
