Summary : The goal of the arcade tech is to provide a high-quality guest experience for everyone in the arcade. Responsibilities include the upkeep and maintenance of the general arcade area and the arcade games. Qualified candidates are enthusiastic, detail and people oriented. Technical aptitude is helpful but not required. We will train with no previous experience. Candidates must be 16 years of age or older. Evening and weekend shifts are required.

Duties and Responsibilities include :

  • Completes regular and frequent cleaning tasks in the arcade.
  • Repairs simple and common issues with arcade games.
  • Ensures cleanliness and safety standards are met throughout the arcade.
  • Frequently inspects games to detect potential issues.
  • Places games out of service and documents issues in maintenance system.
  • Applies proper use of hand tools to complete common repairs.
  • Responds to guest concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Follows safety practices as prescribed by training guidelines.
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance.
  • Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

Education / Experience :

No related job experience required.

Language Ability :

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions. Ability to speak effectively with customers and Langer’s team members.

Math Ability :

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability :

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Computer Skills :

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic application interfacing skills.

Hand tool experience a plus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, and outdoor weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Pay :

Pay for this position is $16.00 per hour.

Benefits :

Part-Time Arcade Technicians are eligible for the following benefits. 50% discount on restaurant menu items during a regularly scheduled shift. 50% discount on food and beverage purchased by employee and up to 3 guests while not on shift. Free use of attractions by employee and up to 3 guests while not on shift, attractions include arcade, bowling, laser tag, and rock wall.
