LangeTwins Family Winery & Vineyards is looking for a Wine Logistics Coordinator to join our tight-knit, sustainability-focused team in Acampo. What You'll Do – Your Day-to-Day:
Records Management
- Accurately enter winemaking work orders into our tracking software.
- Record weigh tags, BOLs, wine compositions, and bulk wine contracts.
- Compile end-of-month inventory summaries and reconcile bulk wine records.
- Review and update tank board information regularly.
- Maintain a clear, organized system of digital and physical records.
- Serve as the main contact for record-related client communication.
- Create and manage product and ingredient codes in our tracking system.
- Support compliance, winemaking, cellar, and operations teams administratively.
- Double-check bottling reports and resolve inconsistencies.
Logistics & Planning
- Oversee the daily operations of the Scale House with support from the Winemaker.
- Weigh inbound and outbound loads of grapes, wine, and juice with accuracy.
- Coordinate logistics for domestic and international shipments.
- Work with freight forwarders to manage scheduling, reservations, and documentation.
- Ensure regulatory documents are complete and accurate for all wine movements.
- Audit shipping and receiving records to verify volumes and IDs.
Compliance
- Apply wine industry regulatory knowledge across all duties.
- Maintain compliance with the Bioterrorism Act and FDA requirements.
- Prepare and file export documents for international shipments.
- Track winemaking inputs and lots in AMS to ensure recall readiness.
- Keep our inventory database aligned with actual on-site stock.
- Regularly communicate compliance updates with relevant teams.
- Conduct monthly audits and resolve any discrepancies in bulk wine records.
- Maintain accurate data for 702 Reporting in our tracking system.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant college coursework in Enology, Viticulture, or related field.
- Winery production experience and strong knowledge of winery operations.
- Availability to work overtime and weekends, especially during harvest (Aug–Dec).
- Understanding of wine industry compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Clear, professional communication skills.
- A collaborative attitude with a strong sense of accountability.
- Flexibility to support team needs across varied hours.
- Ability to stay cool and focused in a fast-paced environment.
