Accounts Payable Clerk

Responsibilities

• The Accounts Payable Clerk will play a crucial role in managing the company’s financial obligations
• This position requires a meticulous individual with experience in SAGE software who can efficiently handle vendor payments and expense control
• You will gain valuable experience and be part of a team that values accuracy and efficiency
• Compile amounts owed by the company to vendors, suppliers, or other organizations/individuals
• Utilize SAGE software for processing invoices
• Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records while ensuring timely payments
• Proficiency in SAGE software
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to analyze financial records and reports
• Good communication skills
• 3-7 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
• Experience with SAGE software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable
• Works closely with Controller to ensure proper processes are developed and maintained.
