This is part time, 25 hours per week.
The Receptionist contributes to meeting Langham goals of exceptional customer service, quality, process improvement, and profitability by providing professional experience for individuals who make contact with Langham Logistics through the corporate switchboard, reception area and email. The Receptionist performs a number of administrative tasks which may change from time to time. The ability to provide exceptional customer service as well as work efficiently with both internal and external customers is critical for the success of this position.

Key Outcomes Expected
Reception Area
Quickly and professionally answer all calls coming into the corporate switchboard, transferring accurately to the appropriate party.Provide a courteous and professional greeting to all incoming visitors – customers, vendors, job applicants, or other guests – ensuring they are directed to the appropriate personnel. Per TSA trained guidelines, ensure that no one entering the front door is allowed beyond the reception area without a proper escort, etc.Receive and sort all incoming mail; send out-going mail with appropriate postage.Interact with all delivery personnel to ensure that packages, letters, and other materials are properly received or rejected as per TSA trained guidelines.Schedule the various company conference rooms as requested.Internal Customer Assistance
Provide clerical and / or task related assistance on an as needed basis.Establish and promote positive communication within Langham internal departments to increase collaboration and reduce inefficiencies.Respond to e-mails and voice mails in a timely manner.Provide assistance to other department managers on projects as requested.Critical Skills, Knowledge and Behaviors

Education and Experience
High School diploma or GEDPrefer previous experience in a comparable position.Physical Demands and Work Environment : Must be able to work proficiently with computers and other office equipment. Work is performed in an office environment that may involve sitting for long periods of time.
