Job Summary:
The focus of this job is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. Precise, consistent work output is essential requiring patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time. A cable puller handles responsibilities related to pushing and pulling cables for electrical power systems through floors, walls, and ductwork. A cable puller works in the construction industry, providing on-site support. Their duties are to measure, cut, join, and install wires, panels, and junction boxes. · Full time position Monday through Friday, hours vary depending on the jobs assigned, some Saturdays or Sundays may be required with advanced notice.

Job Summary:

A cable puller works in the construction industry, providing on-site support. Their duties are to measure, cut, join, and install wires, panels, and junction boxes. Essential functions consist of the following but are not limited to:
Essential Functions
- Assisting project managers and field technicians of the Company
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Understand the different types of cables and how they work together
- Pull and route CAT5 or CAT 6 or Fiber cable in a data center or new construction commercial environment
- Pulls various cables for power systems through ducts, walls, and or ceilings
- Ability to trim the Work and terminate devices
- Identify proper routing and supporting of RF, data, and fiber cables
- Perform pre-termination procedures: organize, form, dress cables and determine length, slack and label cables to Company standards. Suspend and support cable correctly: Cable tray, J-hook, D-rings, Bridal rings, Trapeze, and miscellaneous materials.
- Ability to attach wire to rod, cable or fish tape and pulls wire through structures
- Keeps materials, tools, and area clean and organized, and labeled
- Communicate regularly with team members and managers according to Company Standards
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with sensitive information
- Keep accurate records by following Company Policies and Procedures while following all applicable laws and regulations
- Knowledge of company policies and standards, ability to ask questions when unsure of the policies and standards
- Adaptable to learning about the Company’s Industry
- Document work orders according to the Company’s Work Order policy, expectations and standards
- Maintain positive attendance in accordance with jobs that are scheduled to be completed
- Continue to develop goals and working toward growth and development that aligns with the Company’s mission and values.

- Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Professional in appearance and presentation
- Will be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective equipment and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others
