Biewer of Lansing is looking to add a full-time Loader Assistant to our team in Lansing, MI. This position will support the shipping and receiving team in various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Accountabilities:
- Support the shipping and receiving team in various tasks.
- Verify correct product labeling and packaging.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the site.
- Assist in the cabling and uncabling of railcars as required for shipping and receiving activities.
- Conduct audits on outbound shipments.
- Be on their feet for the entire shift, involving walking. and standing, and be capable of working in various weather conditions.
Qualifications:
- Capable of completing tasks and making decisions.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory control.
- Ability to comprehend and adhere to loading schedules.
- Self-motivated and have good mathematic skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
