Lantech Communications, LLC is a leading construction and utility installation service provider, dedicated to setting the standard for quality and efficiency in the telecommunications industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Quality and Safety Manager to join our amazing team, and lead our Quality and Safety Division for cable installations.
This role is vital to ensuring the highest safety standards and quality compliance in our operations, protecting both our team members and the communities we serve.
- Full-time, Monday through Friday.
- In-house (Elk Grove Village, IL) or hybrid.
- Travel required (about 80% of time).
- 1099 contract position.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in safety management or quality control in telecommunications or construction.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations, industry standards, and safety best practices.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician), or equivalent will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety and quality policies, procedures, and standards in line with regulatory requirements and company objectives.
- Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Monitor installation projects to ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols.
- Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Train and educate teams on safety standards, emergency protocols, and quality best practices.
- Analyze safety performance metrics and prepare reports for management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and innovations in quality and safety.
- Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and other departments to ensure seamless implementation of safety and quality measures.
