What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Technician position at Lantek LLC?
- The travel will consist of in Montana and mainly based out of Helena, Montana
- Install, terminate, & certify Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, Fiber Optic, Coax
- A large majority of the work will consist in the fields of Networking, Telecom, Access Control, CCTV, DAS, & AV
- Layout cabling pathway
- Follow up on and receive training for proper codes and industry standards
- Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
- Adhere to all quality, standards and safety codes
- Familiar with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC standards
- Interpret the job plan/scope of work and perform retrofits/upgrades for new and existing infrastructure
- Operation of applicable cabling test equipment
- Professionally dressed in accordance with Lantek policies
- Read, understand, follow, and promote company policies & procedures
- Basic computer skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
