We are seeking a highly skilled and service-oriented Support Tech II to join our team. This person will be focused on providing premium, personalized white glove technical support for high-profile users within our organization. This role involves in-depth troubleshooting and support for Windows 10 & 11 systems, Microsoft 365 Suite, various desktop software, VPN connectivity. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and experience to set up, manage and support Microsoft Teams meetings and presentations using external A/V solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve a wide range of system issues, diagnosis of workstation issues, and address trouble tickets.
- Provide after-hours support as needed.
- Configure, set-up, and support of multi-site company meetings and town hall meetings using Microsoft Teams meeting and town hall functions using external A/V equipment ensuring seamless operation during meetings and presentations.
- Configuration, set-up, and support for in-office video streaming/casting and digital signage solutions.
- Troubleshoot and solve IP phone and wifi issues for individuals.
- Work with Windows Active Directory, Azure, and Intune including support of migration of workstations and objects User account and security group administration within Azure, Entra ID, Exchange, and Office 365.
- Set-up, configure, and troubleshoot printer issues (network and local).
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, and other peripheral devices.
- Deploy applications and system updates as needed using Intune.
- Ensure compliance of current security policies and remediations.
- Troubleshoot and administer SharePoint along with solving 'how to' questions for users.
- White glove support-Drive customer satisfaction through personalized, high-quality support to senior staff and high-profile users.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in a tier 2 role supporting end-user computing in a Windows environment
Systems/Technology/Skills:
Note: We are looking for a good problem solver, an individual that has most of these skills, not necessarily all these skills listed.
- Windows 10 and 11 administration
- configuration, maintenance, and security
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Entra ID, Active Directory, MS OneDrive, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint
- SolarWinds management software (or similar tool)
- document, track, and report incident service requests
- AZURE, Intune, Antivirus, and security deployment tools
- RingCentral IP phone system troubleshooting, configuration and management.
- Scripting, PowerShell skills
- VPN technologies & remote desktop tools
- Understanding of IT security principles and best practices
- Audio Visual systems set up and troubleshooting, including integration of Microsoft Teams meetings with external video and audio systems.
Education:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certifications (preferred but not required)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Azure Administrator Associate
- CompTIA A or CompTIA Network
