Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining the reception and retail areas of the Spa while providing a positive and friendly attitude. Assist with scheduling, answering phones, check-in and out of appointments while partaking in genuine interactions that provide the highest guest service level.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide courteous guest service to all guests.
- Must be able to initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be multi-task-oriented.
- Must be able to work well with others and as a team.
- Schedules appointments accurately.
- Must be able to handle the computer system and all cash handling procedures.
- Answer phones promptly and friendly.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and handle multiple guests at one time.
- Knowledge of all spa treatments, salon services, and retail items.
- Stock brochures at the front desk.
- Daily cleaning.
- Restock retail items.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Participate in and attend all training classes and staff meetings.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Experience in a demanding high-volume luxury Spa environment or luxury hotel/resort front desk experience is preferred.
- Must possess outstanding customer service, organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills and excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.
- Prior knowledge of the following systems is preferred: Millennium Systems, SpaSoft, HotSOS, MindBody, and/or Vagaro.
- Must be solution-oriented and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Must have previous cash handling experience.
- The candidate must be able to work efficiently within a team environment and individually.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must have an open mind and willingness to learn new processes, concepts, and ways of approaching guests and coworkers.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
- The candidate must be well-groomed and professional.
- Must be able to communicate English with guests, management, and other associates to their understanding. Additional foreign language a plus
- Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Willingness to maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding guests and staff.
- A combination of education equivalent to graduation from high school (High school diploma) or any other combination of education, training, and experience provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.'
