Our Language Arts Teacher will provide instruction in a milieu-based program while providing educational and mental health support to our students in middle and high school.
Develop and deliver classroom and field-based curriculum utilizing a variety of mediums to include technology, project-based learning, differentiated instruction, and the concepts of universal designs for learning. Collaborate with other team members to meet the academic and treatment needs of our students.
Requirements
- College Education with focus on Mathematics
- Valid VT teaching certification/license in Mathematics (or pursuing licensure) preferred; if none, include transcripts
- Two years' experience working with youth (middle-high school)
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student success
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- Regular access to reliable, registered, inspected, insured vehicle
