Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production & Machine Operator to handle the repackaging of herbs using our specialized machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience operating production equipment, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and maintaining machinery for optimal performance. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to manufacturing orders, and a mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
Responsibilities:
• Operate production machinery to repack herbs efficiently and accurately.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure high-quality production standards.
• Maintain and clean the machine daily after use to ensure proper functionality and hygiene.
• Follow manufacturing orders and batch records precisely to meet production goals.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot minor mechanical problems.
• Assist in the general upkeep of the production area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or production issues to management promptly.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements:
• Previous experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing, food processing, or herbal industry preferred.
• Basic mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and fix minor equipment issues.
• Ability to follow precise instructions and manufacturing orders accurately.
• Understanding of GMP or willingness to learn and follow proper procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean work environment.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 55 lbs as needed.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently or in a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in an herbal or food production facility.
• Knowledge of basic machine maintenance and repair.
