Job Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machines to produce precision parts and instruments.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine grinding procedures and parameters.
- Select appropriate grinding wheels, attachments, accessories, etc based on specifications.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and tolerances.
- Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
- Record production data and maintain accurate logs of finished products.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operations and machinery.
