- Knowledge of how to maintain, clean and preserve a wide variety of building and furniture, fixtures and equipment surfaces.

- Ability to prioritize, organize and remain calm in stressful situations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Job Summary: (Essential Functions)
- Clean all club facilities.
- Assist the Management Team with event setups/breakdowns: tables, chairs, linens, buffet equipment, etc. for all areas of the club.
- Transport personnel and materials between the two locations.
- Perform housekeeping tasks and clean all club facilities.
- Assist waterfront and pool operations with seasonal setup and breakdown.
- Periodically assist in general maintenance projects.
Job Tasks/Duties
- Assist with maintaining outside of clubhouse building (i.e., cleans and shovels steps, walkways, patios and entrances).
- Assists with inventory control and security.
- Assists with tables, chairs and other furniture needed for special events.
- Attends departmental staff meetings and safety meetings.
- Buffs floors.
- Cleans and polishes brass.
- Cleans and sanitizes all restroom floors, walls and fixtures and restocks restroom supplies.
- Cleans elevators; stairwells and landings; dusts ceiling light fixtures; does spot cleaning as necessary; checks drapes for needed repairs and missing hooks.
- Cleans employee restrooms.
- Cleans locker room areas including showers and bath areas.
- Cleans Tennis and Pool locker room areas including showers and bathroom areas.
- Cleans walls throughout clubhouse as necessary.
- Conducts deep-cleaning projects.
- Dusts general rooms and furniture.
- Empties all wastebaskets, handles recycling materials and takes trash to garbage room.
- Event Set-Up of furniture based on available floor plan for all areas of the club.
- Lock and unlock assigned rooms; secure building when facilities are not in use; check for unlocked doors and windows and turn off lights.
- Maintain fireplace as needed.
- Maintains outside of clubhouse building (i.e., cleans steps, walkways, patios and entrances).
- Maintains the Jr. Clubhouse, Tennis and Pool area including changing rooms and restrooms.
- Moves furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis.
- Polishes glass, table surfaces, counters, shelves, desks, office equipment and door handles.
- Reports any damage, burned-out light bulbs and plumbing problems to supervisor.
- Shampoos carpets.
- Sweeps patio area and dusts patio furniture.
- Transports linen to and from the linen or laundry room/area.
- Vacuums carpets and mops floors throughout the club including dining and pool areas.
- Washes windows.
- Completes other appropriate assignments requested by the Housekeeping Manager, Director of Clubhouse Services, General Manager OR other Leadership team Manager.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform strenuous work: lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping and climbing.
- Stand and/or walk for length of scheduled shift.
- Use ladders when required.
- Subject to environmental conditions: activities occur both inside and outside including, but not limited to indoors, outdoors, kitchen, service areas, and in a variety of weathers.
- Must be able to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays & evenings.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Job has the potential to expose the employee to human blood pathogens or infectious materials.
Schedule
Necessary to have flexibility on working varied hours, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Time off is limited during our high- volume months.
