Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Director of Enrollment Systems provides leadership and oversight to the student information system, registration, document management system, communication resource management system (CRM) and other related enrollment applications. Provides proactive and innovative solutions, updates and improvements to current enrollment processes that promote the development, implementation and evaluation of student success. Integrates and optimizes all relates student enrollment systems / software to create a cohesive student enrollment experience. Creates and develops procedures and training manuals to ensure accuracy and consistency. Assists in the development of campus-wide Data Standards. The Director of Enrollment Systems works closely with all Enrollment Management services and on occasion with other student services departments campus-wide.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides technical and administrative leadership in the enrollment management processes, systems, and software.
- Analyze the integration of all enrollment and student support services processes, systems, and software.
- Creates and develops training and procedural manuals of multiple student enrollment and support systems / software.
- Serves as an administrator of the student record information system; assesses maintenance of student databases that are used by the campus community.
- Ensures the accurate data reporting to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board's Coordinating Board Manual reports.
- Works collaboratively with Institutional Research and Planning on student tracking, trend analysis and enrollment forecasts.
- Works with technological resources to develop innovative and data-driving tracking of student progress.
- Defines technical language for college community interpretation.
- Assist with the creation, implementation, and enforcement of data standards as it relates to the student information system.
- Facilitates as the liaison between the Information Technology team and end users on the development and execution of projects.
- Maintains enrollment systems / software optimization and required updates.
- Reviews and analyzes the testing of Banner SIS updates / patches and other enterprise applications.
- Utilizes research to inform best practices and participate in reflective, self-directed, on-going professional development.
- Has experience with BANNER SIS and software applications such as document management technology. Campus Logic, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, reporting systems, etc.
- Serves on institution committees providing interpretation, enhancement, and problem resolution as they relate to the College's Banner SIS system.
- Serves on College Committees as appointed.
- Ensures the integrity and confidentiality of academic records by maintaining compliance with FERPA (Family Education Rights and Privacy Act) and College records and retention policies.
- Aids in the transition to paperless records for the Enrollment Management departments.
- Plans and develops enrollment strategies aligned with the effective use of enrollment systems.
- Assists with the development and implementation of a long-term strategic enrollment plan.
- Annually assess all programs and practices for continuous improvement.
- Represent the College at community events on-campus, off-campus or virtually.
- Assist as needed with special targeted enrollment efforts, i.e., open houses, registrations, orientations, etc.
- Experience with state and national organizations : i.e., RNL, Ellucian, AACRAO, TACRAO, NASFAA, TASFAA, NACUBO, TCC, TACC etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

On occasion, may receive direction from Vice President of Student Success and Enrollment and / or College President.
