Laredo Medical Center is looking for a Registrar/Admitting Clerk Outpatient who will be reporting to the Director of Admissions. The Registrar/Admitting Clerk registers patients and processes related paperwork.
Essential Duties Include:
- Duties include interviewing patients, preparing standard registration forms, and performing other admission or transfer related tasks.
- May be expected to perform clerical and secretarial work.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks which includes transporting patients, collections, discharges and verification of insurances. Typically reports to a supervisor and/or manager.
Job Requirement Include:
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required: 0-2 years of work experience in a related field
- Preferred: Medical Terminology.
