Job Description
- Designing, implementing, and managing security controls within GCP environments
- Managing GCP Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Responding to and investigating security incidents in GCP
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Implementing automated security solutions and monitoring tools in GCP environments
- Collaborating with cloud architects, DevOps, and application teams
- Creating and maintaining documentation related to GCP security controls
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud security
- Minimum 5 years of experience with GCP
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks
- Experience with GCP security tools
- Hands-on experience securing cloud-native applications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field
- Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer (preferred)
- Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with GCP-based security solutions and services
- Knowledge of container orchestration platforms and security best practices for containers in GCP
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and secure CI/CD pipeline development
