- Resource Evaluation: Proactively assess current and future state of company's resources
- Industry Knowledge: Maintain current HR knowledge and industry trends, and identify trends that can impact the organization's objectives
- Company Culture: Develop an employee-oriented company culture emphasizing customer satisfaction, quality, continuous improvement, and high performance
- HR Strategy: Lead company’s strategic and tactical human resources efforts, community relations, business partnerships, and department activities
- HR Duties: Lead Benefit Administration, Compensation, Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Onboarding, Training and Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Policy Development and Administration, Workers’ Compensation, Risk Management and Safety
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Certifications: PHR / SHRM certified, completion of OHSA General Industry training
- Experience: Manufacturing Human Resources experience, 5 years of recruiting experience, management experience in talent acquisition
- Skills: Excellent communication, mentorship, ability to facilitate group meetings, written and verbal communication skills, ability to build and improve systems and policies, compliance with government and legislative standards
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS software experience
- Talent Acquisition: Ability to design and execute talent acquisition strategies, analyze recruitment trends, and partner with senior management for staffing plans, recruiting strategies, and talent development.
